SUCCESS FOR HANSON RENOUF IN THE COURT OF APPEAL – Read the latest summary of this appeal in Alhamrani v JP Morgan and others
'In July 2009 the Jersey Court of Appeal sat once again to hear appeals arising from the long running Alhamrani proceedings which was nearing its one hundredth day of trial. On this occasion appeals were brought by JP Morgan and Sheikh Abdullah against the refusal of the Royal Court to hear an application striking out the case of the Plaintiffs for alleged litigation misconduct.
Advocate Timothy Hanson of Hanson Renouf - who made the decisive submissions in the court below - together with advocates appearing upon behalf of the Plaintiffs, successfully opposed the appeal.'
